Import ctrlX IO to ctrlX PLC offline

Hello,

A customer is asking if there is a process to import the configuration from ctrlX IO Engineering into ctrlX PLC Engineering while offline? So far I have only done it while online, so I would choose "Selectively from ctrlX CORE" here. I assume the offline process would involve "Selectively from file", but I'm not sure where to find or how to generate the necessary file so that I can build DataLayer_Realtime offline based on what was added in the ctrlX IO Engineering project.
