We have a design for a winch system which is powered from a 15Kw generator. The data sheet quotes an inrush of 26.6A (3 phase with choke)
The generator will provide 17A at 400V, its protection control will reduce the output voltage towards 230V dependent on excess current drawn, to a maximum of 62A, for a short duration before shutting down.
Does the drive reduce its current requirement when the voltage reduces, as I understand the HCS02.1E-W0054 does?
- if so what is the reduction of inrush at 200V?
The original design was based on HCS02.1E-W0054, but as its being withdrawn we are updating the design to use the CtrlX
XCS2-W0054ARN Inrush when using generator as power source
