Using CtrlX Drive Engineering 01V40 and 01V38
When I create an offline simulation with no source, I receive an exception if I select a kit motor + drive combination. It doesn't matter if I start with configuring a drive or kit motor, the exception occurs when trying to configure the remaining component.
It seems to effect all kit motors. It may effect other Drive Engineering versions.
