Introduction
You can organize your devices and orders into folders that reflect the structure of your company (e.g. by department, project or clients).
Each folder has a permission boundary. Only users with access to a folder can:
View and add devices and orders to it
Assign licenses from orders to devices within the same folder
Manage and set up the devices in that folder
Creating folders
Go toĀ DevicesĀ orĀ Orders page
Click on the 3 dot icon and then Add sub-folder
Menu to create and edit folders
Move devices and order into folders:
Drag and drop directly into the folder
Or, select the devices or orders and click Move
You will see the folders structure, with the current folder pre-selected
Navigate though the folder levels and select the destination folder

You can only assign the licenses from orders that are in the same folder as the devices. Combined with folder permissions, this ensures teams only see and manage whatās relevant to them.
Grand and revoke access to folders
The folders have an access control: only users with access to a folder can configure its devices or assign licenses from its orders.
To manage folder access, you need to have an admin roleĀ then:
Click on your user profile and open the Settings menu
Select User ManagementĀ
You will see a list of all usersĀ in your account
In theĀ Folder Access column, clickĀ Change access link next to a user
The full folder structureĀ will appear
Check or uncheck folders toĀ grant or revoke access
Use Select allĀ to quickly apply access to all folders

Users will only see and manage the devices and orders in folders they have access to.
