A customer has an X7 with V2.6 apps. There are about 27 axes and 60 total EtherCAT nodes connected. When the X7 is powered up EtherCAT gets stuck in Init. The I/O modules connected locally to the X7 say Pre-Op, but the first external node "SafetyMaster" (address 1007) and every node after say "Not connected". SafetyMaster is a ctrlX Safety C12. In the IO Engineering diagnostic log there are faults like PDI Watchdog related to Safety Master.
At this point if they command EtherCAT to OP from the web page then all nodes will reach OP. Then they must switch Motion to Running, because Motion was stuck in Configuration mode due to the EtherCAT issue. Then they can run the machine. But why doesn't it bootup up successfully the first time? It is always requiring manual intervention to get to a running state. Please see screenshots and system report.
