ctrlX Works / PLC / Drive / Crash

Hello !

We have a problem with all ctrlX tools, V1.16 on some PC.

Crash with ctrlX PLC (Sometimes can start) but with message, see attach.

Crash with ctrlX Works. see image in attach.

Crash with ctrlX_Drive, see image below and a text file with Microsof .NET framework.

We have ten PC connected with ctrlX Core. So, not possible to switch rapidely to a new version.

Problem with Windows 10 Enterprise version 21H

The problem is new. Still on only one PC, but probably im more PC. Maybe because of an update of Windows ?

This sounds like a known problem already fixed in the official release version 1.20. Please keep in mind that 1.16 is an early adopter version not getting further development or improvements.

As an quick fix, please replace the file "Tmds.MDns.dll" file located in your ctrlX WORKS installation path e.g. "C:\Program Files\Rexroth\ctrlX WORKS 1.16" with the same named file out of an installation of the LTS 1.20.8 version or newer. This should do the trick.
