Does the XI613101 support single ended TTL (e.g. A, B only instead of A,NOT A, B, NOT B)?
I have attached the datasheet and the customer is looking to check if the incremental outputs will be compatible with the XI613101

unfortunately the module does not support single ended TTL encoders, the internal signal processing follows RS-422 strictly.
The module will probably generate a "wire break" diagnosis and stop counting or some unexpected behavior.
You may check for signal converters from single ended to differential or choose a different encoder.
