Why no possibility to add bits to a digital In- or Output card??

In Indraworks I can put a word to all 16 input or outputbits so I can easily read all IO, in CTRL-X this is not possible, but also not even the separate bits, it keeps giving me errors.

Anybody knows how to do this without addressing every input separately with a boolean??
