would it be fine to use MS2M motors in combination with XCS supplied by 230 V?
For our application we need to have EM interface and MS2M motors (retrofit of old machine with Ecodrives) and obviously XCS-F does not have it as option available.

This is not possible.
Drive controllers of type A and H are not providing the right encoder supply for the newer MS2M encoder, that is a hardware issue. Going through EC interface is not implemented as well.
XCS2-W0xxxA... + MS2M --> not possible
XCS2-W0xxxH... + MS2M --> not possible
XCS2-W00xxF... + MS2M --> made for it
