how to connect ctrlX DRIVE using DRIVE Connect APP

Hi colleagues,

I would like to use the DRIVE Connect APP to connect the ctrlX CORE with my drive (EFC/HMC) to enable the parameter reading function, similar to how the EAL (Easy Automation Library) works. I do not need to control my drive—reading the parameters is sufficient.

I have carefully reviewed the documentation, but I am still a bit confused, as I am not very familiar with fieldbus communication and I am new to ctrlX. My questions are:

1. Are there any preconditions for configuring the drive? For example, does the drive need to be in EtherCAT mode?

2. I have connected the ctrl CORE XF10 with the drive on the same LAN. Is this setup sufficient?

However, I did not see any drives available as shown in the attached example. Any hints or support would be greatly appreciated!
