HMF01.1A-N0K2-D0095-A-500-NN with ctrlX DRIVE XCS*150A*

Our customer is currently using the motor filter HMF01.1A-N0K2-D0095-A-500-NN (on the motor side) with the HCS03.1E-W0150-_-05*, they were once advised to use the HMF to reduce leakage currents.

Now they want to replace the HCS03 with an XCS2-W0150A*.

Are HMF motor filters compatible with ctrlX DRIVE? Or is it no longer necessary to use the HMF motor filter with ctrlX due to improved properties on the output side?

Thank you in advance!

HMF mainly reduces the voltage rise gradient and eventually the maximum voltage apparent on the motor phases caused by the usual overshoot of the regulation. Leakage currents are normally not reduced.
For reduction of voltage rise gradient or maximum voltage HMF can still be used in between ctrlX DRIVE amplifier (if inverter or converter doesn´t matter) and motor.
