I'd like to suggest an improvement to the documentation regarding fault F2021 – Motor temperature monitor defective.
It's important to point out that if the motor is from the MS2N series and uses a digital encoder interface — such as CS or CM types — the temperature sensor signal is monitored by the encoder itself and transmitted via the encoder interface. In this case, the signal cannot be measured directly.
Given that, can we rule out a failure at the drive's X6 port or in the cabling, and consider the motor itself as the likely source of the issue?
