Limiting scope or OPC-UA Server

Is there a way to limit the scope of the OPC-UA server so that only selected nodes on the data layer are exposed?

There is no way to restrict the OPC UA Server App. But you can restrict the Client, which tries to access the Data Layer Nodes provided by the OPC UA Server App. 

This can be done with the help of Scopes. Scopes restrict the usesr access to the Data Layer. These scopes can be assigned via the user and group settings. For more information about scopes see this part in the ctrlX CORE Runtime, Application Manual (ctrlX Data Layer -> Security).
