This how-to gives you some information about the possibilities of the actual supported functions of ctrlX DRIVE with PROFIsafe on PROFINET.

Requirements

• Runtime FWA-XD1-AXS-V-0402xxx onwards
• SMO, SafeMotion Speed or higher

Address type 1 and 2

• Type 1: Only the PROFIsafe slave address is checked
• Type 2: Combination of PROFIsafe master address and PROFIsafe slave address for topologies with more than one PROFIsafe master

PROFIsafe shared device

• for PROFINET topologies with difference master hardware for motion control and PROFIsafe
