more EtherCAT masters communicate to a slave

A customer is asking if it is possible that more EtherCAT Masters can communicate to one slave (e.g. IO module) ? For example two ctrlX CORE each with EtherCAT Master App. Regards, Stefan

EtherCat is designed as a single master system. So this is not possible for cyclic data.

You could use acyclic mailbox protocols like CoE, EoE or the Data Layer to do this.
