The Smart Function Kit Pressing trade fair demonstrator from Bosch Rexroth showcases a ready-to-install, mechatronic solution for pressing and testing. Additionally, the video highlights how simple and intuitive it is to select, configure and commission the smart servo press. The presented use cases demonstrate some of the extensive possibilities of the Smart Function Kit.
Force control:
Target force and holding duration are specified. A sensor measures the actual force, and the system attempts to achieve the target force and to keep it constant for the defined time.
Process evaluation and quality assurance:
A sequence program can be created for each pressing/joining or testing process. Quality criteria that must be met in the process can be defined. Each force-displacement curve recorded during a process run is evaluated as OK or NOK based on the evaluation elements.
