What about the Task-Watchdog settings? Any recommendations to avoid runtime issues?

By default the Watchdogs are not aktivated ! Does it make sense?

Any suggestions regarding the adjustment and tast termination-checks?

It highly recommended to setup the Watchdogs for any task configured. Have a look to the online help if needed.ย

Consider a programming mistakes (e.g. endless-loop) captures the cpu endlessly..., the PLC-runtime will collapse and block somehow. With the activated WD the runtime detects the malfunction and generates a WD exception at the ctrlX-diagnosis system. Otherwise without WD the whole system gets effected and even the diagnosis will not be fed anymore.

It will be hard to realisze the PLC-programm as reasonable for such a blockade in case the time-expanding of the programm growns randomly.
