Hello. I have Rexroth S20 IO-link module and I would like to add an actuator to it.
I have IODD xml description file from actuator's manufacturer. Unfortunately I couldn't find any button to add a slot or something like this. Could somebody help with this topic?
Process data communication is possible without the IODD.
The porcess data mapping, where your data are, you can mostly find in the docu of the IO-Link devices.
Depending on the EtherCAT IO-Link Master, it's possible with the manufacture tools to set parameters in the IO-Link devices.
