ctrlX Device Portal - How to find and register my devices

Introduction

All controls ctrlX CORE and SD-Dongle devices are registered automatically. For Engineering PC devices or partner devices go to the section "Register PC device".

If you are not finding your device maybe was moved to another account or a different folder. Follow section "Find your device" to find the device.

Register a Engineering PC device

To add an Engineering PC device:

  • Go to Devices

  • Optional: Select the folder where you want to have your device

  • Click the button Device Options and select Add PC device

  • Type the device name and the corresponding serial number 

  • The description is optional

  • Click Save and the device will be shown at the corresponding folder

Register a partner device

We will add instructions here as soon is possible to register a partner device from the UI.

Find my device

If you are not finding your device it can be due to:

  1. It's in a different folder: 

  • At the Devices screen type the device name or serial number in the search field

  • Change the filters to "All folders"

  • If the device is found will be shown with a new column with the name of the folders where it's saved

  1. Your device was not yet registered in your account 

For Bosch Rexroth devices:

  • Go to Digital Service Assistant App

  • Click on "Register your product"

  • Scan or manually enter the device serial number

  • Add to the comment section you wish to claim the device in the ctrlX Device Portal

For other partner devices:

Contact our Support hotline (or [email protected]) and request to register your device into your account - you will need the device serial number and the account number.
