Hi,
I am setting the CODESYS Softmotion for my PLC applications. There are 2 required packages of Softmotion to install, including:
CODESYS SoftMotion 4.17.0.0.package
ctrlX CODESYS Softmotion Adaption 4.17.1.0.package
What happened?
I follow this post for instructions on installing the packages. However, the Add-ons Installer starts to freeze after I press "Install" -> choose "CODESYS SoftMotion 4.17.0.0.package". On the contrary, the "ctrlX CODESYS Softmotion Adaption 4.17.1.0.package" was installed normally and successfully.
What have I tried, but it is still freezing?
Waited from 1-3 hours to see whether the computer needs time to download or process the dependencies.
Reinstall my ctrlX PLC Engineering V2.6.6, including erasing all the "Temp" folder of ctrlX PLC Engineering on my Local Disk (C).
Install the new version of ctrlX PLC Engineering V2.2.7.
Turn off Windows Firewall and Anti-Virus Software during the installation of ctrlX PLC Engineering and the packages.
Use alternative wired internets and Wifi connections.
I think there are some conflicts between the software on my computer, but I cannot find the root cause or how to fix this problem. My computer is not a strong workstation, just an 11th-generation Intel Core I5 with 16 GB of RAM, which I think might not be the root cause of this problem.
Can you support me on this case?
