Ideal combination of hydraulics and electrics
The self-contained hydraulic assemblies combine a servo drive with a hydraulic pump, a control block and hydraulic cylinders as well as safety valves and sensors to an axis with ist own fluid circuit.
Differentiation self contained linear axis from conventional hydraulics
Completely ready-to-install and maintenance-free SHAs offer users with little knowledge of hydraulics an exciting opportunity for electrification of drives for high loads, speeds or strokes. Because a servo drive with a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic cylinder as well as sensors and optional safety valves are combined into a single self-contained, closed system, a transition to the conventional hydraulic solution in the open system under TCO-aspects (total cost of ownership) can be more economical for multi-axis applications. Digitally controlled hydraulic axes with integrated axis controller (IAC) are state-of-the-art for open systems, which are also multi-Ethernet capable. Likewise, those machine engineers who have extensive experience with hydraulics may want to continue to implement their own solutions using a comprehensive solution kit. For all other cases, SHAs offer an interesting alternative to traditional hydraulics, because they unleash the numerous improvement capabilities of the linear drive in closed systems
