MB Connect - no VPN-Client device
I cannot find the VPN-Client device inside the MBConnect DIALUP tool - as mention in this How-to. How can I set the connection using VPN-Client app? 105/28/2026BMG IP Suite Universal Machine Connector & OPC-DA Server
Hi, can anyone share how to use pattern node in Kassow Robot? My case is I have two drawers A and B. Each drawer has 5 layers. I have 10 models of item which different diameter and each layer for A and B has 2 proximity sensors (will be remove -1 outside). Let say 5 layers on drawer A occupied with 1" and 5 layers on drawer B occupied with 1/2". So how the program on PLC and Kassow Robot should be like and can I use same TCP and Frame for each layer for both drawers. I want procced with pattern node cause its same matrix. So, if user want to run another model, he needs to change the jig. Then, he needs choose the receipt model on HMI side so the robot will know the exact pattern grid/ location/coordinate of items 203/02/2026probleme in CS351E-D

Hello everyone, My customer has a requirement to transmit data from the ctrlX Data Layer via MQTT to a designated device, and also to upload the data to an AWS or GCP server for data parsing, database storage, and web visualization. The entire process must comply with x509 certificate authentication and TLS 1.2 encryption. My current planned app setup is as follows: Node-RED App + Mosquitto MQTT Broker: Send data from the Data Layer via MQTT. Bosch DeviceBridge: Upload data to AWS or GCP servers. I would like to ask whether this system architecture satisfies the x509 certificate + TLS 1.2 encryption requirement. Would additional apps be required? Thank you. 411/30/2025IXON WebAccess - file upload failed
When connected to my ctrlX OS device via the IXON WebAccess its not possible for me to upload a app (or another file) which is bigger than 16 MB. The error I get is either "Error when uploading files - 413 Request Entity Too Large" (V3.6) or "Upload failed! File is too large. If your are connected via remote access, the maximum file size may be restricted." (V4.4). See my screenshot: 110/30/2025MQTT via Node Red

Hi forum, there are Turkish-speaking users of ctrlX PLC Cores available. I am considering translating the ctrlX System Image interface from English to Turkish. Currently, the interface is only available in English and German. I have a Fanuc R30iB Plus robot controller connected to an X3 over ethercat. Everything appears to be functioning properly and I can read/write IO on the fanuc and see it in IO Engineering and the web portal. I am trying to read and write this IO now from Node-Red and I am getting a 'Request Failed' on the Read node when trying to read the data path. Looking at the debug panel, this seems to be due to invalid json being returned from that read request. If I change the node-red data layer request to metadata (instead of read) and output the result to a debug node, then it seems to read the metadata information fine and the operations properties of that object say that read is a valid operation for that path. The path is: fieldbuses/ethercat/master/instances/ethercatmaster/realtime_data/input/data/FANUC_R_30iB_Plus/IN512.DO00 and this is what is looks like in I/O Engineering and this is what it looks like in the Data Layer explorer using the ctrlx web interface 801/19/2025Problem with grid function of procon GTI

Hi all, I am currently working on a project that involves improving the efficiency and performance of a hydraulic control system, and I could really use some guidance from this awesome community. The system is functioning pretty well, but there is definitely room for improvement—specifically, I’d like to reduce response times and energy consumption without compromising precision. I’ve been using Rexroth’s motion control components, but I am still exploring ways to fine-tune things further. Some areas I’ve been considering include adjusting the pressure settings, tweaking valve control strategies, and implementing more efficient software for real-time monitoring. I have gone through these resources/articles https://academy.boschrexroth.com/en_de/developing-and-optimizing-hydraulic-control-systems-en.html Mendix interview questions, however, they are quite useful but I wanted to learn more about the community members. Has anyone here worked on similar projects or encountered challenges when trying to optimize hydraulic systems? I am curious to hear how others have tackled issues like minimizing energy waste, improving responsiveness, and maintaining long-term reliability. Did any of you try advanced control algorithms or incorporate IoT sensors into the mix? I’d also love to know if there are specific Rexroth tools or resources that you’ve found particularly useful for this type of optimization. Any suggestions, tips, or even just sharing your experiences would be incredibly helpful. I’m hoping to get a fresh perspective and maybe some strategies I haven’t thought of yet. Thanks a lot in advance for any insights. 109/12/2024Angular V1 Support for NodeRED Dashboards
The dashboard pallete that is installed by default with the NodeRED app on ctrlX is node-red-dashboard v3.6.5, which is based on Angular v1. As of the end of 2021, Angular v1 is in End of Life status and will now longer maintained or updated with any sort of security improvements. The pallete still works and likely will for a while, but should users have any concerns about working on it without future support? Are there plans to update the NodeRED app to a different default dashboard pallete such as Flow Fuse Dashboard v2.0, uiBuilder, or another? Or will it be up to the user to determine the best application for themselves and install the necessary palletes? 209/10/2024Cedalo MQTT App - dependency core20

I am currently preparing for the release of a new app. So i was reading the guide again. In subsection 2.1 I found that I should have a arch-overview.x but apparently this was lost during the development process. Fromt he requirements and the undefined file ending I assume the desired file is a UML or a combination of UML and text/markdown files. It is also stated that it should be stored int he {appname} folder and updated with every version, which indicates that it either represents all versions or only the last one. So I hope that someone could provide an example of the file. Preferably also pointing out its evolution over multiple versions. 302/12/2024Spider Control read datalayer
