The ideal solution is to utilize one robot for two or more CNC machining loading/unloading tasks, but this is often impossible due to the robot's limited reach. Â
This solution uses our heavy-duty compact module CKR (with belt drive) as a robust, wall-mounted transfer axis for a standard industrial robot. Engineered with two integrated ball rail systems, the CKR 280 is exceptionally rigid, effectively acting as a "7th axis" for the robot.
It is designed to handle the significant dynamic loads of a moving robot, allowing a Robotic System Integrator to mount their preferred 4- to 6-axis robot directly to the CKR's carriage. The transfer axis is powered and controlled by our versatile automation platform ctrlx AUTOMATION, ensuring precise and reliable positioning.
